Sharifeh is a multilingual speech pathologist fluent in Farsi, Dari, Hazaragi, and English. She is Hanen-certified to work with children with Autism and trained in the SOS approach to support children with feeding and eating challenges. With over 20 years of research, clinical, and teaching experience, Sharifeh has worked with both adults and children. She holds a Master of Speech Pathology from Griffith University, Brisbane, and a PhD from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where she investigated the association between mother-child interactions and children’s language development. Sharifeh is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families by attentively listening to their needs and delivering therapy that empowers and satisfies both children and parents. She utilises a wealth of resources and evidence-based techniques to ensure effective, goal-oriented progress. Sharifeh has a special interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Language Disorders.

Sharifeh ’s passion for speech pathology began early in her life, and she pursued her dream by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia.
Over the course of her career, Sharifeh has worked in a variety of settings including day care centers, university clinics, private sectors, and specialist rehabilitation centers.
Sharifeh's expertise and wealth of resources are particularly valuable when working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as those with Developmental Language Disorders. Her special interest in these areas has enabled her to develop a range of evidence-based techniques and strategies that she uses to great effect in her therapy sessions, helping children to make significant progress and achieve their goals.
